Taw is the smaller of the two cottages and suitable for a couple with the possibility of using the sofa bed for up to two more.
The front door takes you into an entrance and dining area, with the kitchen off to the left.
Taw is mainly open plan and steps lead up to a lounge which is a good size. It has a comfortable sofa bed and big picture window on the ground floor and one in the gable.
The bathroom is approached from the lounge. Stairs lead from the lounge to the gallery bedroom. Here you can look out over the fields from the window in the gable.
There is parking outside the cottage. The compact patio faces south. It has a rotary drier and table and chairs for relaxing or dining out.
If you are feeling energetic you can always go for a walk across the public footpath or along the lanes to Great Torrington. The pubs serve good food and good ale.
Torrington also has good walks which include the commons. This leads to the picturesque Tarka Trail with its outstanding natural beauty and wildlife. Kingfishers can be spotted and if you are lucky you may see an otter. |
